What an Experience Cloud bundle really is

Adobe sells Analytics most often inside an Experience Cloud bundle that wraps Target, Audience Manager, Campaign, and Customer Journey Analytics into one commitment. The bundle is positioned as integrated value, and there is real integration, but the pricing is a single blended figure that hides what each product costs and how much of each you actually use.

The blend is the point. A combined number is far harder to benchmark or challenge than a set of itemized products, and it lets Adobe carry low adoption modules along at full value because they never appear on their own line.

Where the analytics bundle costs you

The first trap is the dormant component, a product such as Target or Audience Manager that was bundled in but never adopted, paid for in full every year. The second is server call or usage volume set to bundle wide assumptions rather than to your real Analytics consumption. The third is the renewal uplift applied to the whole blend, so unused pieces inflate at the same rate as the parts you depend on.

Because the bundle reports as one line, finance cannot see which products earn their cost. That invisibility is exactly where the waste accumulates.

The buyer side approach

Force a component level breakdown so each product carries a price. Measure adoption per product and drop or park the components with no real use. Resize Analytics volume to actual consumption rather than to the bundle forecast. Then ask Adobe to hold the bundle discount on the trimmed package, since the discount was the reason to bundle and it should survive the cut.
